What are margins?
Margins are unused or black spaces that sit between the edges of the document’s content. They are not the same, and that’s because indents are blank spaces between the first line in a paragraph and the margin. It is possible to have more than one indent in a single document; however, there can only be one margin.

Where is the margin on Google Docs?
